A tribute to Geneviève and Quebec craftsmanship

At Vox & Oz , every piece of jewelry tells a unique story. Today, we have some special news to share with you. The DRUMMER model, one of our most beloved creations, will now be called GEN , in tribute to Geneviève Laquerre , a remarkable woman and fervent defender of Quebec craftsmanship. Geneviève left us recently, after courageously facing a sudden recurrence of cancer.

Geneviève had discovered Vox & Oz online, and her love for products made in Quebec and her unwavering support for local artisans naturally led her to our creations. Shortly before her departure, she placed a very special order with us. She chose the DRUMMER model , wanting to offer this jewel as a souvenir to her loved ones, family and friends. Every detail was important to her: the colors, quantities and deadlines were carefully thought out. Unfortunately, Geneviève did not have the chance to see these jewels before her departure.

During the funeral ceremony, over a hundred pairs of DRUMMER earrings were given to those present, bringing a touch of comfort and beauty in such a painful moment. These earrings, chosen with such care, have become a symbol of the unbreakable bond between Geneviève and her loved ones.

By renaming this model GEN , we celebrate her refined taste for Quebec craftsmanship and honor her memory. We firmly believe that "we never die as long as someone thinks of us". Geneviève will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
